A Christmas Carol

At the Old Vic

Donate today and help us feed hungry people during Christmas and throughout the year, every year!

City Harvest is delighted that The Old Vic is raising money for our charity during this year’s production of A Christmas Carol.

Matthew Warchus’ big-hearted, smash-hit production of Charles Dickens’s immortal classic returns to The Old Vic, joyously adapted for the stage by Jack Thorne and starring Emmy Award-winner Christopher Eccleston as Ebenezer Scrooge.

The magical, heart-rending production of a timeless story fits perfectly with the values of City Harvest and our mission to feed people across London in need.

Why support City Harvest?

City Harvest rescues food, people, and the planet by diverting quality, nutritious, edible surplus food from waste and redistributing it to our network of 375 Community Partners across London.

We provide 1.2 million monthly meals to a wide range of people in need, including children living in poverty, young people in hostels, people escaping domestic violence, families fleeing war-torn countries, people facing in-work poverty, people overcoming mental illness, people who are homeless, and older adults suffering social isolation.

For every £1 donated, City Harvest can provide four meals to Londoners in need.

Help City Harvest achieve its vision of a city where everyone has access to fresh, nourishing food and no good food is wasted within the supply chain.

Thank you for your generosity this Christmas time.

For those making donations by text, texts will cost the donation amount plus one message at your standard network rate. Donations will be processed by Donr, who will receive 5% of your donation as a processing fee.
