City Harvest partners with the Comptoir Group to deliver 1500 meals a month for communities across London

We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with Comptoir,

who are helping us deliver 1,500 delicious meals every month to communities across London.

This year we’re thrilled to announce a new partnership with Comptoir, who are joining us in our mission to rescue surplus food and deliver hope to Londoners in need. Together, we’re kicking off 2026 with compassion and community, providing 1,500 delicious meals each month to our charity partners across the city.

One of the communities benefiting from this partnership is the inspiring Newham Community Project. Each week, their dedicated team provides essential groceries to more than 2,000 people through their bustling food bank, while also supporting individuals with immigration, employment, and housing advice. With around 35–40% of Newham’s population identifying as Muslim, they ensure their services are culturally sensitive and inclusive, reflecting the same spirit of care, connection, and hope that drives both City Harvest and Comptoir.

Comptoir’s support goes beyond providing meals. Through their Feeding Hope Fund, they raise money to empower communities: funding education, skills training, and work placements that help people build sustainable futures. Their generosity means we can continue to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals to those who need them most, while investing in long-term change across London.

This partnership also celebrates the power of shared values. Comptoir’s founder, Tony Kitous, knows firsthand the challenges of starting with little and the importance of giving back. His story of resilience and hospitality perfectly captures why this collaboration means so much, good food bringing people together, one meal at a time.
