University of West London students support City Harvest with campaign concept

We all want to help fight food poverty, but such a big problem can seem overwhelming. It can be hard to see how your donation can make a difference. City Harvest’s EQUALS campaign is designed to overcome that. We can show how even a small donation of food, time or money makes a real difference to people facing food poverty.

Visit our website (cityharvest.org.uk/equals) to use the EQUALS calculator. You type in the number of hours, £s or food kgs you can donate, and we’ll show you how many free nutritious meals City Harvest can deliver. 1 hour of volunteering, for example, lets us deliver 530 meals worth of food! Whatever little you have to give EQUALS so much to people facing food poverty.

Food is one of the great social connectors, and community is very important to us. We’re delighted to work with local Advertising & PR students at University of West London who created the EQUALS campaign as a final year project.

Upon its launch, the final year Ad & PR students pose with City Harvest’s EQUALS food rescue van at the University’s Ealing site. They’re also wearing limited edition EQUALS hoodies in the campaign’s trademark blue.

I’m Jaz, a student on the Advertising & PR course at the University of West London. Myself, Abbi, and Hanan worked together to make the EQUALS campaign in partnership with City Harvest. Please go out and support the EQUALS campaign. We’re so excited to see our designs come to life!
