A Taste of City Harvest: Journeys of surplus food across a hungry London

This captivating new recipe book (available via Amazon), written by award-winning cookery writer, Kristen Frederickson, tells the story of London food surplus charity City Harvest.
Co-founded in 2014 by Steve and Laura Winningham,
City Harvest provides over 1.2 million meals per month in Greater London.

This story is about people, the family around the table that makes up City Harvest. The family begins with the food partners who donate and supply quality food. Through to the staff and volunteers at the London warehouses who receive and distribute the incredible surplus ingredients. And finally to the people at the food charity’s partnered communities, including food banks, shelters, after-school groups, and community centres that receive the food.

A Taste of City Harvest is available now for £20 with 100% of the proceeds supporting our charity.
