“I’m concerned about the issues of food poverty and homelessness in London so wanted to help City Harvest, and see the charity’s impact firsthand. Going on a van to collect surplus food from some major UK supermarkets and deliver it to recipient charities in the area was amazing. To be part of an operation like that, just for a day, was exhilarating and eye-opening. I would urge everyone to go and volunteer.”
